This past weekend Brian and I took our 5th trip to Paso Robles for a weekend of wine tasting and relaxation. On the way up we stopped in the little Scandinavian themed town of Solvang for lunch and beer tasting. I got to visit a total of 7 wineries over the course of the weekend. Some new, some old favorites. I will have to say my new favorite is Shale Oak– only 2 years old, everything is eco-friendly, the hospitality is incredible and the wine delicious! We also got to hit a few golf balls into the vineyards at Veris Winery- an old favorite of ours. Cannot wait to go back to Paso Next year! For anyone looking for a relaxing weekend trip, I highly recommend visiting Paso Robles. It is about a 3 hour drive north-east of Los Angeles, rent a house, bring your friends, and book Hop on the Wine Line to take you around to the best wineries. Those guys know their way around and never disappoint.
Obviously heels may not be the wisest shoe choice for a day of drinking wine, but don’t worry- I’m a professional 😉 I paired my graphic skirt with a cozy sweater blue sweater last seen HERE.
