My favorite season has finally arrived! If you ask me why fall is the best of all four seasons, it is because of a number of reasons…The beautiful jewel tones that come with fall styling. The intricate layering of tops, jackets, sweaters, tights and dresses. Pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks. The smell of leaves turning. (Well, maybe not in LA, but all other parts of the country.) Sure, I’ll miss certain things about summer such as beach days, bikinis and bbq’s. But those will all be back next year. For now I cannot wait to fill my home with pumpkins and get ready for one of my favorite holidays…Halloween! Okay, maybe I am getting a bit ahead of myself. But either way- fall is here and I am a happy camper 🙂
We actually shot these photos in Vancouver on our balcony at the Opus Hotel. Our trip to Canada gave me a chance to wear some of my new fall pieces before the weather had officially arrived in Los Angeles. A few of my favorites include this faux suede jacket and my new favorite handbag which you’ll be seeing me wear on repeat. I’ll be posting more trips and travel guides from that trip soon!
