Hearts on My Sleeve

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Kier always manages to catch the best photos of me smiling. Thanks lady. How adorable is this Express top with little hearts all over it?! This look is entirely inspired by Kier’s recent look and I actually named the title of this post before I remembered what her post was titled! It makes complete sense because we are wearing hearts on our sleeves. And it just goes to show you don’t have to wear red or pink for your Valentine’s Day look.

Over the years I have learned that Valentine’s Day isn’t just about getting gifts and having a significant other. It’s about spending time with all the people you love, friends, family, pets. You never have to wait for a special holiday to tell someone you love them or appreciate them. Do little things everyday such as leaving little notes or text messages saying “thinking of you” or an extra long hug. People remember these things and it makes the world that much better.
