Visiting the M Dot Design Studio

This past Tuesday night I got to meet Michelle Aquinto inside her M. Dot Design Studio. I had recently attended her Shop It Event at the W Hotel in Hollywood and was excited to see behind the scenes of her work.  Her studio doubles as both her work space and a boutique.  I loved the openness with lots of natural light, lots of work space, and especially her inspiration board. It was like a giant scrape book of everything she loves and inspires her posted right where she can see it everyday.  The studio perfectly complimented her gorgeous, one of a kind pieces from her spring/summer collection. What is neat about Michelle’s line is that clients can pick the fabric and style they want and have their garment handmade for them.

I wore the two piece dress I made a few months ago and wore to the Simply Stylist Event back in March.

I need a mini bar like this in my house! How chic!

The studio also sells hand poured soy candles. The photos on each of them are from M’s fashion line.
