Valentine’s Day Brunch
This past weekend I wanted to test out my new heart waffle iron and decided to put together a Valentine’s Day brunch inspiration tablescape to go along with it. I made delicious gluten-free waffles) which I share the recipe for down below) and set the table with these adorable heart-shaped plates.
The pink table runner from Opalhouse was the perfect find along with lots of faux flowers from Michael’s and Home Goods.
This pink neon LOVE light was a $10 find at my local Walgreens. The pink vase is from Michael’s and the faux flowers are from Home Goods.
Gluten-Free Waffle Recipe
- Trader Joe’s Buttermilk Pancake + Waffle mix
- 1 tsp vanilla
- a pinch of cinnamon
- spray the waffle maker with coconut oil
This recipe is super simple to make and makes about 5 of these heart waffles. If you are cooking for more than two people I highly recommend doubling the recipe.
I made a small charcuterie plate to balance the number of sweets on the table. Make sure to check out my guide on how to make a cheese board in under 10 minutes!
A box of Ferrero Golden Valley chocolates adorned the table for the brunch.
Michael’s has an excellent selection of faux flowers for various bouquests. The flowers in the gift back are from the Dollar Tree. These are the same flowers I used to make the heart wreath you see in some of the photos.
