Valentine’s Day Bar Cart Decor Ideas:
Today’s post on a Valentine’s Day bar cart is to go along with the theme I shared on Monday, my Valentine’s Day Party Ideas. A very special thank you for all the love you showed me on my behind the scenes Instagram video showcasing the entire party set up. It was so much fun to share with you and I hope to do plenty more of those videos in the near future.
Decorating one of my two bar carts (I would have three if I had room in my house) is one of my favorite home decor projects. So much so that I have an entire section of the blog dedicated to just bar cart decor. It is easy to create a themed bar cart for any holiday really. Just choose a few seasonal props and coordinating colors to arrange on the bar cart.
For Valentine’s Day, I used red and different shades of the colors pink and red with rose gold here and there. Food was displayed on heart serving dishes, napkins, lots of flowers (faux is easiest), and a love sign in there for good measure! Just a few things will make your home come alive with the spirit of love.
love sign: Party City, champagne glasses: Stage Stores (last seen here.)
I visited a few different stores to pick up items for this set-up. Namely Home Goods, Party City, Dollar Tree, and Vons. Amazon and Target.com are also great places to shop for Valentine’s Day decor items.
napkins, faux flowers, and heart bowl: Home Goods, mini heart confetti: Dollar Store
champagne glasses: Stage Stores, toothpicks: Home Goods
A fun little addition to a glass of rosé is a heart embellished toothpick with a strawberry on top.
heart-shaped bowl: Home Goods, tin signs: Dollar Tree
Heart-shaped dishes with sweet treats make a lovely display.
Multi-colored heart balloons in different shades of pink via Party City. My bar cart is from Z Gallerie. Wayfair, Home Depot , Target and Cost Plus World Market sells a similar version.
Ice bucket: Home Goods, heart garland: Home Goods
It is the little touches that make a party unique. For instance, adding a mini heart garland in an unexpected place.
