Unpublished Photos from the Montage Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina
Lately, I find myself reminiscing through old travel photos wishing I could transport both my mind and my body back to those places and times when life was much more simple. One of the places I think about the most is my trip to the Montage Palmetto Bluff last spring. A stunning 20,000-acre property set in Bluffton, South Carolina. The property offers everything one needs for complete escape and relaxation: restaurants, nature walks, pools, bike rides, horseback riding. The list is truly endless.
I often think about those mornings waking up at the Inn, looking out my window and thinking… I must be dreaming. This place is just so beautiful, I must be dreaming. I loved this property so much I vowed to return every year. The events of this year put a hold on that dream, but it will make me appreciate my next trip there all the more.
As a celebration, I thought I’d take a trip down memory lane and share some unpublished photos from my trip there. Oh, how I wish to be back at the clubhouse near the water eating s’ mores to my heart’s content! Or another kayak across the marshland listening to the clams snapping shut as the tide rose and seeing the dolphins swim out in the distance.
As we look towards brighter days ahead, the Montage Palmetto Bluff is offering the “Spirit of Now” as we gather in a place where life’s special moments simply happen.
Never again will I take the sight of a new place for granted. Never again will I hesitate to jump on the chance to explore someplace new.
I wish with all my heart I could be here again right now. At least I have something to look forward to when I take a trip back to South Carolina next spring to experience all of the blooms and wonders of what makes Palmetto Bluff so special.
Take care,
Laura
