Every year for the holidays I like to treat myself with a pair of shoes or a handbag. This year I really wanted a chic luxury handbag that I could carry with me to work and meetings. It was between this Louis Vuitton Alma bag and the Gucci Soho (which I hear they are discontinuing soon!) Ultimately I decided on the Alma because I love a good structured bag. It makes it easier to find things after I’ve been throwing stuff in my bag all day. The burgundy patent color is so amazing. I was impressed how many outfits I could pair it with!
Right now I am obsessed with faux fur jackets. I picked this one up at Express and it’s currently sold out online, but I did find a similar version here. If I don’t end up wearing a velvet dress for New Year’s Eve I’ll definitely consider this fringe number. Check out another New Year’s Eve outfit idea on the blog.
