Sometimes it takes me while to pull the trigger and actually buy something. I’m not always an impulse buyer. These Stuart Weitzman Highstreet black thigh high boots are a perfect example. Last year I so badly wanted a pair, but never actually bought them. Thankfully Weitzman came out with a very similar pair this year and I snatched these black thigh high boots in my size before they sold out.

I am wearing the Highstreet black thigh high boots, which is slightly different than last year’s Highland style. The toe is a bit pointier and the heel a bit slimmer.  In the beginning, it took a while to get these black thigh high boots on because there isn’t a zipper. You just have to wiggle them on little by little until they break in a bit. I spurged and got Stuart Weitzman instead of a less expensive pair for a few reasons…1) I am tall I wanted a pair that would be true black thigh high boots, not just over the knees, 2) I did not want a platform in the heel like many similar styles have, 3) these black thigh high boots are extremely comfortable- I cannot say that about other pairs that I have tried, 4) I did get them on sale.

I love these black thigh high boots so much I have my eye on the topo or gray color too. Christmas is coming and Santa my list is ready for you!
