Thanksgiving Table Setting Decor
I absolutely love creating elegant tablescapes. Whether it is for the holidays or just a special occasion, The decorating options are endless! They can be as extravagant or as simple as you would like and still look absolutely amazing.
Use a Table Runner
Since Aaron and I moved in together, I decided to give away my beloved table and chairs in lieu of his smaller, yet more upscale-looking table setting. Since all my table clothes only fit a rectangular table, a table runner would have to do. The good thing about runners is that they easily add a pop of color and texture to the table. I have linked a few at the end of this post.
Add Candle Sticks
Although my candle stick holders are the same height, I create the illusion that one is shorter than the other by using different lengths of candles. I also love these candle sticks here. If you have small kids or prefer not to use an open flame, check out these flameless taper candles.
It is always a good idea to have appetizers out when your guests arrive to welcome them in and help appease them until dinner is ready. Check out my post on how to create the best charcuterie board. If you are short on time, I created a guide on how to create a quick cheeseboard in under 10 minutes as well. This cheeseboard actually comes with a hidden set of knives underneath. The perfect gift to bring your host or hostess.
Now, obviously, with a smaller table, the bouquet takes up room needed to make room for other things like a turkey. The trick is to leave the centerpiece on the table until everyone sits down. Once they do, just replace the bouquet with a sizzling serving dish of delicious food, and voila! It will be like a magic trick for your guests. If you have the space, set up a separate area for your guests to get. Here is my guide for stylish beverage table ideas.
A lot of the items on my table are either heirlooms or older purchases. So I will try to link what I can find. If there is anything in particular that you are curious about, just send me an email! laurayazdi@outlook. or DM me on Instagram and I will tell you all I know about it! As always, thank you for taking the time to stop by and read my blog. It truly means a lot to me and is another thing I am grateful for this year. Happy Thanksgiving!
