Summer Brunch and a Pool Party

Sunday was one of the most fun days I have had this summer. I got dressed up to met my fellow LA bloggers for a summer brunch and spontaneously attended a pool party hosted by Nasty Gal.   Kier suggested this restaurant called Off Vine. It is literally a quiet and quaint restaurant just blocks from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood Blvd. They serve warm banana bread at every table that was so delicious. We also ordered their bunlets which are little cinnamon rolls. I ordered the spinach, mushroom, tomato and cheese omelette served with rosemary & garlic tomatoes and fresh fruit.  Looking forward to our next blogger brunch in Orange County! We’ll make a day trip out of it.

The previous day I had gone shopping with my mom and found this beautiful floral dress hanging on the clearance rack at Express. I did not think much of it until I tried it on and now it is true love. The colorful floral print is right up my alley and the rushing is perfect to show off my curves. The material breathes beautifully and is a wonderful addition to my summer wardrobe. The price tag? A mere $26. Treasure off the sale rack.

Brunch at Off Vine in Hollywood.

After brunch, Kier and I stopped by the Nasty Gal pool party at the Standard in Hollywood. We were a bit over dressed for this hipster bash, but as I always say, it is better to be over dressed than under dressed!
