I used to shy away from stripes. I was afraid that they would make my curves appear our of proportion/ larger than they really are. But over the summer I really started to develop a love for all things striped. Especially dresses like this one from Vici Collection. I figured it would be perfect for my trip to the Hamptons (travel guide here!) I started wearing it as soon as I arrived.
What I made sure of was that if I was going to wear anything with stripes, the stripes had to be verticle, not horizontal. Horizontal stripes can sometimes make you look wider than you really are. This dress had a fun mix of the two kinds without adding anything to my frame.
My taste in jewelry is also changing as I now prefer very dainty jewelry pieces like this pavé crescent choker and this crossover ring. I have been doing a major purge of all the things I no longer wear and I am wondering if I’ll ever be into big statement jewelry again? Maybe I’ll just hang on to it for a little while longer until I am 100% sure? What do you guys think?
Note: The dress is no longer in stock, sorry girls! I’ve linked a few more of my favorites down below!
