When I was in school, I never had to wear a school uniform. I would come up with the craziest outfits to try and “express myself” as an individual or show off my inner Cher Horowitz. It was only in college that I finally started to get the hang of the whole “trendy fashion” thing. When I was a kid I would dress up in these outrageous prom dresses that my parents got us from thrift stores. Those were the days, not a care in the world and all we had to worry about was which dress we would wear. Sometimes I wish I could go back and tweak my outfits to not look like such a dork. I guess that is why we have kids, so we have a second chance to get it right in school. All I know is, fashion is an art form and it becomes your own when you stop listening to whatever anyone else thinks. Thanks for reading and have an awesome Wednesday.

Laura
