Patio Decor Ideas with Bed Bath & Beyond
I am beyond ecstatic to share today’s patio reveal with you! When I first moved into my new house, I knew the first space I wanted to decorate was my patio. The weather has started to warm up and I want to be able to spend as much time enjoying the outdoors. I had been obsessed with different kinds of patio decor ideas and furniture options. There was no question in my mind of the one place I could get everything to create the perfect space…Bed Bath & Beyond.
The entire design process started by measuring my space and then piecing together items I liked. I used images of the products I liked and placed them in a PowerPoint presentation to see the layout. The hero piece that ties it all together is this beautifully detailed outdoor rug. The patio couch and teak coffee table are both made out of teak which after doing my research learned that patio furniture is like any other household purchase, worth the investment to do it right the first time, and take care of it to make it last.
Bed Bath & Beyond is having up to 40% off patio furniture and accessories in honor of Memorial Day! Also, don’t forget to sign up to become a Beyond + Member to receive 20% off your entire purchase and free shipping on all items!

Full disclosure, my rattan bar cart is not technically an outdoor bar cart. However, because my patio is covered, I feel it will be okay and just bring it into the garage if the weather takes a turn. This black rattan bar cart is a gorgeous option if you’re looking for an indoor version. There are plenty of other outdoor bar cart options that I’ve shared below:
Bar Carts:
Fresh cut lemons from my citrus trees make for a lovely garnish in my water dispenser.
Patio Dining Sets:
Can you even believe this is an outdoor rug?! It was the first piece I fell in love with and built my space around. The patterns and colors are just so stunning. I loved it so much I considered using it in my dining room as well. I keep it clean by using a blower to dust off leaves and try to avoid walking on it with muddy shoes.
Outdoor Rugs:
I knew I would have to decide between an outdoor dining set and a sofa. Ultimately I went with this teak sofa because I loved the idea of a place to be able to cuddle up with a good book and entertain. The light-colored cushions are made for the outdoors. I also sprayed them with an extra water-resistant sealant just to be safe and will store them during the winter/rainy season to keep them looking as fresh as possible for as long as possible. With all things, when you invest and take care of quality pieces like this sofa, they tend to last a lot longer.
At first I thought the outdoor sofa may look a bit low to the ground, but you don’t even notice once you sit on it. The structure is well built and comfortable, and the perfect height for the outdoor coffee table.

Side Tables:
Patio string lights are an accessory that can really make your outdoor space sparkle. They make space extra special and romantic as the sun starts to set. My outdoor space has a modern set of string lights strung along the roofline that plugin. There are also a ton of great solar-powered options to choose from.
Outdoor String Lights:
Plants really bring an outdoor space to life. Plant stands like these help create different levels for your planters that are more interesting to the eye and avoids your precious plants being lost in the crowd of pots.
Planters:
For my patio chairs, I wanted to make sure they were particularly cozy for lazy afternoons under the sun. I went with these Madison Park Venice Outdoor Patio Lounge Chairs. If you like this set, you should check out the entire Madison Park patio set here set complete with a loveseat, coffee table, and side table.
Lounge Chairs:
My patio has a built-in roof, however, if your outdoor space does not have any protection from the sun or specific areas that could use a bit more shade, I recommend getting a patio umbrella. There are a few different types including ones that can be angled according to your needs and others with solar-powered lights attached.
Umbrellas:
Outdoor Dining Tables:
My Modway Marina Outdoor Patio Round coffee table works as both a coffee and dining table on the patio. The natural finish compliments the rest of the patio furniture and pulls them all together.
One other item I’ll be adding more of to my outdoor space are solar powered or battery operated lights. That way I do not have to worry about leaving a candle burning.
