You may not know, but I have always been an athlete. I figure skated for 9 years as a child and well into my teen years. My mom pushed my brother, sister and me into Tae Kwon Do (martial arts) where I once competed against a boy my age and made him cry (proud moment.) Then I took up horseback riding- my childhood dream that became a reality when I got my horse, Zcinny, at age 15 and still have him to this day. I took swimming lessons since the day I could walk and made the UCLA Crew team as a walk-on my freshman year. But somehow I find myself terribly afraid of the ocean. Pools only for me.
Then life got hectic with school, work and other activities (arts & crafts, a boyfriend, social life) and my sports got put on the sideline. But now I am back in my tennis shoes with a new found sport… tennis. I have always admired the athletic ability of tennis players and with Brian obsessed with any world tennis tournament going on, it is time I learn the game and I plan to beat him someday. I styled this outfit to show you that athletes can be fashionable too! I am getting prepared for the win with a growing collection of cute athletic apparel including my new Breeze Comfort sports top and Lacoste tennis skirt. I want to wear this Lacoste skirt school girl style with a white button up and mens wear inspired heels! (I’ll leave the pigtails for the kids.) See you on the court!

Exercise tops need to be be supportive and have comfortable fabric. This sports top managed to pass my strict requirements. The built in bra is supportive without being constricting. The material is Supplex mixed with organic bamboo charcoal so that it feels like cotton while being anti-bacterial and anti-odor. Pretty complex and very comfortable.
For those of you who may not have known, Lacoste started as a sports apparel company founded by French tennis player René Lacoste nicknamed “the Crocodile.” he created the first tennis shirt in 1929. I could not resist this cute pleated, poppy colored tennis skirt. Tempted to get it in white too!
