New York Fashion Week- Day 3…I bought this dress and shoes months ago for my birthday in May and saved both to wear to fashion week. Of my four days at fashion week, this was my favorite outfit. The colors, patterns, and contrasts just made it so much fun to wear. Plus, it was the debut of my little 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target satchel that I bought at the launch party!
Highlight of the day was having Joannwear the same Asos dress as me in a different color (blue). Phew! Thank the fashion gods it wasn’t the same color! B!tch stole my look! Hahaha. But I don’t blame her for wearing such an awesome dress. 😉
Also, there is a new giveaway on the blog with Stella & Dot! Check it out HERE.
The first show of the day was Mara Hoffman. I felt like I had stepped out of New York and into a summer paradise with colorful prints and patterns. Absolutely a stunning collection and one that I enjoyed being a part of.
The dress in the photo above was my favorite of the collection. I especially liked how they tied a colorful belt around the waist instead of a normal solid color. And below the finale, a flowing maxi dress with cut-outs and a geometric pattern. Dresses that flow down the runway like this one always seem to capture the crowds attention.
My second show of the day was Katya Leonivich. I had seen Katya’s show last September and was equally as curious this season. Her work is a mixture of futuristic styles and fabrics- fashion as art.
I love this city.
