For this outfit I decided to take combine a few things that are iconically British. You have heard me talk about Modalu before (here) as they are my favorite handbag brand. This Tyler bag has been on my wish list from the moment I first laid eyes on it. Everything about it is just incredible-the navy leather, suede and embellished fastener make this bag a perfect, timeless addition to my wardrobe. Inspired by Elizabeth Taylor herself. I have never owned a navy bag before and look forward to all of the different outfits I can wear it with.
This Burberry trench coat was my mother’s. I remember seeing it as a little girl and thinking it was too long to every be attractive. But now that I am at the age to appreciate a timeless designer trench like this, I am really happy that she kept it for me. The shoes were a DIY project (here) and I thought they added the perfect additionally navy touch to an already chic outfit. And how about that Mini Cooper in the background and Princess Di’s sapphire ring? A few more British items I thought I would throw into the mix.

Hi Marty,
This jacket does not have a strap under the collar. It is quite old, as it was my mom’s 20+ years ago. A Burberry trench is such a good investment. They last for ages! I should wear this again, you’re right. I have to find it! Thanks for reading!
xoxo,
