This season I am mad about plaid. I could not resist that play on words. But seriously…fall is all about plaid. Plaid jackets, skirts, and blazers, you name it, I want it! I spotted this particular plaid suit on Instagram and immediately had to have it. The only sizes left were too large for me, but I ordered them anyway and had my tailor work her magic to make the suit fit. Having a good, reliable tailor is SO important. As soon as I put the suit on I felt like a total GIRLBOSS. Powerful and feminine with a touch of badassery.
How do you feel about plaid? Sometimes I LOVE it, sometimes the plaid pattern is just okay. My other favorite plaid item this year is a tie front skirt I’ve worn a few times on the blog here. I’ve rounded up a few of my other favorite plaid pieces below.
