Best Gifts for the Traveler
Last Minute Gift Ideas
So Christmas is right around the corner and still not sure what gifts to buy? I have got you covered! Thankfully stores like Amazon have rushed shipping! I have included a few different gift options including the best gifts for the traveler, the host, the skier, and the beauty guru. Guys like my brother are difficult to shop for so I ended up getting him this humidor on Amazon for his cigar collection. If you wanted to go one extra step, you could get a personalized plaque for it.
Now for the boyfriend’s parents… I have really struggled with this one. I have never been to their home, so I have no idea what they already have without making it obvious by having Aaron ask them directly. A monthly membership to a beer or wine club like VineBox is always a lovely idea.
I don’t care who you are, a gift certificate to the spa is always appreciated. My favorite is Burke Williams or the spa at the nearest luxury hotel. Right now Burke Williams is offering lots of holiday gift cards and member specials!
Another gift that almost everyone can find a use for is an Apple AirTag. Stick it in your luggage, on your keys, your dog, and anything else you want to keep track of. They come in packs of 1 or 4. These also make a great stocking stuffer!
If they love activewear, I highly suggest Vuori. Their activewear is made of the softest materials I have ever felt in my life.
For those of us that still want to shop for small businesses, check out Rustic Elements. They offer all-natural soaps and bath products.
Another favorite gift for the host is a premium cheese board that includes all the knives and cheese markers. I also have this slightly smaller cheese board and I use it all the time for picnics!
And if all else fails and you still don’t know what to get, plan an experience. For example, give them a card with the location or activity you want to take them to. Let them pick the dates, and you can plan the rest from there! Maybe you sign up for a cooking class, or a sushi-making class. You can even take a day trip to their favorite vineyard or amusement park./ Perhaps you use your frequent flyer miles to take them to a place they have always wanted to go.

I received the book Beautiful Boards by Maegan Brown for Christmas this year and had to include it in the best gifts for hosts. This book is full of TONS of ideas for all kinds of boards including the holidays, breakfast, tacos, and many many more. Another favorite is the Half-Baked Harvest Cookbook by Tieghan Gerard. Either one will make your host very happy.
