Aloha! Last night I arrived Kauai for a tropical getaway with my sister. (If any of you watched my Instagram story you can see that the fun has already begun.) We are here for my college roommate’s wedding! I’m maid of honor (NBD- no big deal.) I haven’t been to Kauai in two years since I went with my family (check out photos from that trip here, here and here.)

Some people hate packing, but I actually like it. Well, I like parts of it. The parts that involve styling cute outfits and seeing how many I can fit in my suitcase before it won’t close. LOL. I just make sure to pack lots of versatile outfits like this palm print dress I can throw on over my swimsuit and head to dinner.

My carry on suitcase always consists of the same things: my laptop, headphones, camera, valuables, a scarf, cozy sweater, and lots of snacks. I just got this self inflating neck pillow that I’m curious to try so we’ll see how that goes. And I’ll have one less cord to get tangled in with my Sudio Sweden wireless headphones.

Speaking of suitcases, I found this pineapple suitcase and almost died. How amazing is this!? I had to have it. I am OBSESSED with pineapples and have them all over my house. (Fun fact: Pineapples are the international symbol for hospitality.) Plus, nothing says Hawaii like pineapples. The suitcase is part of a matching set and also comes in navy!!

You better believe I’m bringing workout gear to Kauai. My sister loves to workout so it will be fun having a workout partner to push me. I’m brought along my new favorite booty bands. They don’t take up much room in my suitcase and are a great butt workout.
