Like many tourists, I couldn’t leave the Hawaiian Island without being lei’d, seeing a luau, and dancing the hula! Our last night in Kauai, we went to a luau at the Grand Hyatt hotel. Although it was not the most authentic luau, (we were hoping for half naked men on a beach with less families present) it was still a lot of fun. The unlimited mai taus Tony’s dance on stage definitely made it a memorable night. Now if only I can find a real hula skirt and coconut bra for this year’s Halloween costume.
