How to Setup the Perfect Holiday Bar Cart for a Party
So, you have guests coming over for a holiday party and it is time to prepare. One of the easiest things to set up before any party is a bar cart. It’s fun, it’s festive and it can turn into a gathering place for your guests to mingle when they arrive.Impact-Site-Verification: -1955271446
Let it Shine!
Pull out all your best barware. Bring out your favorite ice bucket, decanters, and bar tools. Set up the gold-rimmed glassware, the sparkling drink stirrers, and all those metallic dishes for garnishes.
Add some winter foliage!
I like to add garland from fresh evergreen and rosemary sprigs clipped from my garden. These items can also be picked up at the grocery store this time of year! Fresh foliage also helps the room smell amazing. Add a few fairy lights to make the bar cart light up. This set is only $6 on Amazon. If there is room behind the bar cart, consider hanging a wreath above the bar cart to pull out the festive charm.
Lots of Flavors!
Of course have all of the usual bar staples on hand (soda water, tonic, cranberry juice, etc.) But spice it up with some unique holiday flavors such as pineapple schnapps, and apple brandy. Include seasonal garnishes such as rosemary, cried citrus, and cranberries. Include a cup of cocktail picks like this antique brass + marble option for your guests to use for their garnishes.
Include Non-Alcoholic options
with flavors such as sparkling apple cider and ginger beer for your guests to make mock-tails if they please.
