Halloween Party Food Ideas
The house is all set with chic Halloween decor ideas that I shared on my blog a few weeks ago here. Plus, spooky bar cart ideas that are sure to impress your guests. Another way to impress? Creative Halloween themed food displays that will give your guests plenty of options and also set the tone for a good party!
You’ve seen my love of charcuterie boards in this post here. As well as my guide on how to create a cheese board in 10 minutes or less. Today’s post is all about taking a basic cheese or dessert spread, sprinkling it with some holiday fun.
I create a dessert plate using pumpkin cookies from Trader Joes, black licorice, Kit-Kat bars, pumpkins, cookies, and a mummy sugar cookie I picked up at Target. The Dollar Tree also had some fun Halloween candy including boogers, eyeballs, and bat wrapped Hershey kisses.
I found these Halloween drink stirs that also double as cheese plate decor. The miniature skull heads were a find at the Dollar Tree. The black and white cupcake cups are perfect for containing smaller items and the skeleton cheese knives were my favorite find of the season.
One way to save space on a table is with a tier like this one. I placed witches brooms on the top tier, cupcake cups with popcorn and Reeses Pieces in the center, and then my extra cheese with the toothpicks on the bottom tier. I also have a basket of Frankenstein, witch, ghost, and mummy suckers on display.
An animated skeleton bowl filled with candy is sure to spook guests as soon as they reach their hand in.
As for drinks, these custom wine labels from Bed Bath and Beyond are a favorite.
