Goodnight New York

Happy Friday everyone! I apologize sincerely for being so behind on blog posts. I’ve been playing catch up since I arrive home from New York Fashion Week on Monday. Literally as soon as I landed it was Brian’s birthday. I was finally able to reveal his birthday present to him- a trip to Chicago in October! We have always talked about going ( I have never been!) and now we finally get to go! Any suggestions on what we should do while we are there?! Even though we’ll be celebrating his birthday there, he ought to know that we will still be taking outfit photos there. His girlfriend is a fashion blogger after all. Besides, I want to show you all my best “Chicago Style” and make use of my fall clothes since I won;t be able to do so here in Los Angeles until, well, maybe never if it stays this hot!

Today’s photos are from my first night in New York last week. The girls and I went to a Fashion Week networking function (New York code for cocktail hour at a swaggy hotel 😉 ) I hadn’t worn this yellow ruffle top since my birthday in May and I wanted to get more use out of it like I plan to with everything in my closet eventually!

I plan to be caught up by Monday. Until then, have a great weekend everyone!
