Happy First day of summer everyone! And boy is it a hot one. It is supposed to be 106 here in Los Angeles. Just the thought makes me want to jump in a pool of cool blue water. All weekend everyone kept complaining how hot it was. In my mind, all I could think was it’s about freaking time summer showed up! My summer wardrobe has been waiting for this weather! Ask me in 3 months how I feel about the heat. I may or may not change my mind.
For hot days like this, I prefer loose fitting dresses like this striped shift dress. It is lightweight and comfortable. I can throw on a sweater if it gets cool. Plus, it is easy to dress up for work with some nude sandals and a neutral tote.
