First Day of Spring

Happy first day of spring! We’re experiencing another heat wave here in LA. I’m not ready to pack up my gorgeous winter coats just yet. Especially this beauty that I found for $55 on the clearance rack at Target. I did the once over check to make sure it wasn’t too good to be true. I recommend always doing this before you buy something. Check for missing buttons, broken zippers, ripped lining, etc. If you find something wrong you can just grab another one. If it’s a one-of-a-kind item, use the bargaining power at the register. Often times a store will give you around a 10% discount for damaged items. This jacket had a broken button with an extra one sewn on the inside tag that I knew I could sew on myself. Volia!

I couldn’t find this exact style of jeans I am wearing online. I knew I should have bought a second pair. They are like a second skin, so comfortable and easy to dress up or down. I may invest in a darker dressier version like this pair here. Or maybe I’ll get lucky and a near by Express store will have my favs still in stock.
