Fall 2021 Fashion Trends with JCPenney
Today on the blog, I am sharing a few of my favorite 2021 fall trends, how to style them, and similar pieces from JCPenney.com!
All Over Blush
This pretty pink hue isn’t going anywhere. From daytime looks to evening attire, blush can make a statement anytime, in any form. For example, this blush embellished rhinestone jacket dress or this cap sleeve fitted dress are perfect to wear to a wedding. Pair this pretty hue with boots and a cozy sweater for a more fall look. You can also include yourself in the trend by wearing something as basic as a blush long-sleeve shirt as a base layer before adding layers with jackets, vests, and things.
Sweater Vests:
The perfect blend of preppy and classy. Wear them with everything from jeans, to skirts, over dresses and layered on button-up tops! Printed or solid, full-length or cropped, and even traditional crew-neck style sweater vests come in every form. Styling tip: a sweater vest that can be worn over a dress and belted to show off your figure.
Daring Denim
Head-to-toe denim looks have come back with a bang! Outfits include full denim jumpsuits, short sleeve jumpsuits. Or, matching separates such as a jean jacket you can wear with practically everything, distressed skirts, shorts, shirts, and even patchwork denim. Wool Wide-Leg Pants
Wide-leg pants can really make a statement. Especially when they are in a fall-appropriate fabric such as wool or pinstripe patterns. Balance this style of pant leg with a more form-fitting jacket up top for work, or a form-hugging turtleneck sweater for cooler fall days. In case you are feeling extra bold, you can opt for fun color pants like this olive green version from JCPenney.
Lace Delicates
Fabric-infused lace is here to stay for this fall season. Including everything from lace sheath dresses to all-over lace shirts, the hem of a pencil skirt, and delicate shrugs.
Big Knits
A less surprising fall trend has us all into the big knits. Sweaters, scarves, popcorn, pull over, cowl-neck sweaters, you name it, we want it! I usually reach for classic long-sleeve turtleneck sweaters, particularly on those cooler days when you want to be kept extra cozy and warm.
The best part about all of these trends is that you can mix and match them to create a style that is truly your own!
