Not to long ago I visited the Fairfax Flea Market for the first time with a fellow LA blogger, Kier from Fashion Addict. I was a bit overwhelmed with all of the booths to look at but Kier gave me great advice. Scout around, see what you like best and then go back towards the end of the day when the vendors are slashing prices to sell. My mom warned me not to dress up because they would try to charge me more. She was so right. They would look Kier and I up and down and THEN give us a price. I guess when you go thrift shopping at a flea market you are suppose to look like crap so they feel bad for you? I refuse to give up fabulousness. I ended up picking up a dark forest green velvet dress for $5. Perfect for fall, but I will make sure to wear it soon so you all can see it styled. Any other flea markets in LA you would suggest let me know! I am dying to check out the Pasadena flea market!
