Summer is almost officially here so it is time to add some new hairstyles to the lineup. I am excited to partner with France Luxe on another easy hair tutorial guide and giveaway! I had so much fun showing you pretty spring hair styles. This time around it’s time for some easy summer versions to recreate. So let’s get started…. shall we?!
Look 1 : The High-Low
This is my go-to summer hairstyle. It’s super quick, easy and good for all kinds of occasions. Simply brush your hair, then grab the top section separating it from the bottom with your fingers and secure with a clip like this one. Yes, it is literally that easy! You can curl or straighten your hair to change up the look. I like to set my hair in curlers, spray with a bit of hairspray, then wait for approximately 15-20 minutes before taking this out. It’s less time consuming than using a curling iron plus it’s not as damaging to your hair.

Look 2: A Teased Crown
To create this look, tease the crown of your hair with a small comb. I like to use some hairspray to make it hold a bit better. Then release the top crown pieces and smooth them over the teased section. Slip on a headband like this beaded version and you’ve got a modern take on Jackie Onassis Kennedy’s signature look.
Look 3: The Loose Braid
If you have a little bit more time and patience, start with a ponytail and then braid the tail part and secure with a second hair tie. Ditch the boring black hair ties and go for some colorful ones. I like to use bobby pins to secure any loose pieces that may come undone from the braid. You can also loosen the braid a bit to give it extra width.
