Happy May day everyone! In honor of my birthday month, I am finally launching Laura Lily Beauty! To start off this new adventure, we will begin with my new favorite nail art, the falling glitter manicure. This mani is simple to do at home and matches any outfit! So here is what you will need:
- Nail Polish Remover
- Glitter
- Small Brush- I am using a small make-up brush
- Cotton Pads
- Desired Nail color
- Glitter
- Top Coat
- Cuticle oil (optional)
Step 1: To begin, make sure your nails are clean and dry, this will help the polish stick for a longer period of time without chipping.
Step 2: Paint your nails with the desired color. I begin with one hand at a time so I can take my time and not have the polish dry before I have time to add the glitter.
Step 3: Dip the small brush into the glitter and swipe downward on your slightly wet nail polish. How much and the type of glitter you decide is up to you. I prefer fine type and the lighter “falling glitter” look. Repeat on the other hand.
Step 4: Allow to dry for a few minutes and then cover with a clear top coat. Voila! you now have a beautiful manicure to match your sparkling style!
