It is official! My flight is booked and I will be heading back to New York City in just a few short weeks to see my brothers for the holidays! I am crossing all of my fingers and toes that it snows while I am there so that I can reminisce about my childhood in the Minnesota winters. I want to do all of the Christmas tourist things: ice skate in Central Park, see the display at Bergdorf Goodman, a Broadway musical, Rockefeller Center. Is there anything else I should add to my list? I’m planning to do a NYC travel vlog to catch all the family madness on camera. My brothers are hilarious, especially together. And it’s been a long time since we’ve had a family video together.

Christmas is my absolute time of year and here’s why: the air is filled with excitement, people are doing more good deeds for each other, families come together, dressing up is totally acceptable, and I get to watch Home Alone while making Christmas cookies. One of my New Year’s resolutions at the end of 2016 was to do a good deed for someone each day. I’ve stood true to that and this holiday season I want to get an early start on my 2017 resolutions by going above and beyond for people.
