It is official! My flight is booked and I will be heading back to New York City in just a few short weeks to see my brothers for the holidays! I am crossing all of my fingers and toes that it snows while I am there so that I can reminisce about my childhood in the Minnesota winters. I want to do all of the Christmas tourist things: ice skate in Central Park, make a snow angel, see the display at Bergdorf Goodman, a Broadway musical, Rockefeller Center. Is there anything else I should add to my list? I’m planning to do a NYC travel vlog to catch all the family madness on camera. (You can see my past travel vlogs on my YouTube channel here.) My brothers are hilarious, especially together. And it’s been a long time since we’ve had a family video together.

I have to go shopping for some proper winter clothes because living in 70 degrees Los Angeles weather has me ill-prepared for the cold I am about to face. I’ll be stuffing my gloves and boots with heat packs. Any winter weather people out there have any recommendations for me I would greatly appreciate it!

Now for the outfit…

One of the things I love most about being a blogger is working with people that help me bring my creative visions to life. Whenever I am shooting with my photographers, I always tell them my storyline of the look. Maybe this just helps me get in character for the shoot.
