An Evening at the W Hollywood Hotel

Last Wednesday evening the girls and I headed to the W Hollywood Hotel for the M Dot Design Studio shopping event. I have been on the rooftop of the W for the Drais pool party, but this was my first time inside the lobby and I want to meet the interior decorator because it is just gorgeous!

Michelle Aquino, the designer of the line M Dot Design line, makes each piece custom to her clients. I have a soft spot for velvet and naturally fell in love with a lovely aqua blue velvet skirt. There were also a few beautiful jewelry collections there my M Dot and Robyn Rhodes. As a jewelry designer myself I am naturally drawn to the shiny items on the tables.

I did not like this Prabal Gurung for Target dress when I first saw it on the sale rack. But as soon as I saw it on Bethany I knew I had to have it. See, it just takes one blogger to convince you that you need to add an item to your wardrobe. Lucky for you the dress is currently on sale for $12 on Target.com 😉 Just FYI- go down one size because it runs a bit big. And these heels! Are they not the most fabulous thing?! I bought them with a gift card I won from my friend Haute Pink Pretty’s blog and now I want the black pair too!
