About 3 hours northeast of Los Angeles is a small town called Solvang. It is completely Scandinavian inspired with an amazing bakery, needlepoint shops, a Viking Motel and Swedish pancakes! We stopped there for breakfast on our drive up to Paso Robles. I love this little town because I am Swedish from my mom’s side so it brings me back to my heritage. I also am going to be visiting Scandinavia this summer- Norway, Sweden and Denmark, so it gives me a small taste of what I have to look forward to! It was also my first official day using my new Canon camera. Let’s just say I love it so much I was going camera crazy taking photos of everything.
Just because I was sitting in a car for 4 hours did not mean I was going to completely give up on my outfit. I opted for a comfortable dress, light sweater and leggings with my favorite Teva travel boots. I can go for miles in these babies!
We finally made it to Paso Robles and decided to hit up a few wineries for tasting before we headed to our rental house…. The only problem is that there are 250 wineries in Paso, so many choices it is hard to choose!

You’ve just proved being cute and comfy can be done! Great job! 😛 I think I’ve been to Solvang before. I remember there was a cut off of Robert Pattison and I did some very inappropriate things to it, hehe. Love the neon dress with the pink lips! Laura Lily, you so pretty!
Haha only you. Thanks Chica!
