I believe you are never too old to stop learning. Never to old to take a class to enhance your life and learn something new. I spent the weekend attending another School of Style class-personal styling- and absolutely loved it. The instructor Lauren Messiah is a boss. Her sense of humor and go-get-it attitude are the perfect combination and I admire her work ethic. I definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in becoming a personal stylist. Looking forward to applying my new knowledge to my own business! With that said if you know anyone that would like (or is in need of) styling assistance email me: laurayazdi@outlook.com
My outfit for the day was rain weather appropriate, a trench coat and (plastic) pumps. Brian couldn’t believe I insisted on wearing heels while it was pouring rain. I gave him three legit reasons: one the heels keep my feet elevated from the rain, two the material is plastic and therefore water-resistant, and three this dress only deserves to be worn with heels!. The dress is a new favorite of mine. I’ve already worn it to Fashion Week. Although I wish it was Neoprene (it is actually a stretch polyester.) Now I know to specifically check the fabric type when purchasing dresses! Luckily all the colors make it easy to match with different items such as a purple trench coat and yellow heels.
