Today I am going to showcase my favorite items from the LA Times Rock/Style event I attended Thursday. You can see the post here. My favorite part about all the outfits shown is that they are all available this summer from Macy’s which means they are more likely than not affordable!
This outfit above was my favorite of the night. I do not usually like to mix patterns, but this is one I plan to copy. I love the colors of the outfit along with its sophistication. Not overly sexy and creative, too. The glasses add a bit of sass.
Definitely my second favorite outfit of the night. Reasoning: bright colors, great fit, and very interesting accents: tribal necklace, neon clutch, and red shoes. This outfit is as hot as a flame.
3rd favorite outfit- The yellow top and printed jacket go very well together.
I love this photo for the head-piece. Enough said.
The red dress is so adorable, I can see myself wearing it out to run errands. And blue shoes! Never thought I needed a pair until now.
The orange handbag is to die for. Look closely and the zipper has a little green tab to look like a leaf of the orange. I am sold, definitely going to feature this one on my blog.
This jacket screams preppy, but I love it. You cannot tell from the photo, but the skirt is pleated and SPARKLES. Another must-have to add to my summer wish list.
The fringe on this top as she walked down the runway really helped make this outfit stand out . Perfect for the printed shorts and statement necklace. You could probably figure out a way to make this shirt yourself. Hmmm, I sense a DIY project in the works.
