I had the pleasure of spending my birthday weekend in paradise thanks to a surprise trip planned by my boyfriend. I have been talking about going back to Rancho Mirage ever since our trip last year. So for my 25th birthday, he took me on a little getaway. We stayed at the Westin Mission Hills Resort which has beautiful views, a living room and kitchenette. It’s nice having a home away from home.
Brian knows to give me enough time to pack accordingly. Since I knew the weather would be hot, I packed light fabrics to be worn over swimsuits. Plenty of hat and sunglasses. The tribal print just seemed to fit perfectly so I went with it. (You can check out my packing tips post from last week.)
It was a lazy, relaxing weekend spent sipping cocktails by the pool and getting some color. In case you are wondering where Rancho Mirage is exactly, it is right next to Palm Springs. Hope you all had a great weekend as well! Now I am back in LA and ready to get to work on some more fabulous projects to share with you!
This is what Rancho Mirage really looks like right outside our resort. Barren desert. And the windmills on the drive are gigantic. Hundreds of them along the freeway.
