Vuori Activewear – My Expectations Vs. Reality
Editor’s Note: I’ve run through dozens of leggings over the past two years. I ordered inexpensive pieces in basic colors but was still surprised when they fell apart after only 3 months. But then I found Vuori activewear that provides stylish, performance-driven clothes at just-the-right price point.
My Expectations
As always, my primary concern is value for my money – hence all those cheap leggings I ended up trashing. Of course, I have heard of lululemon and Alo Yoga but they were kind of pricey.
I thought the higher the price the higher the quality, but there are still some brands making high-quality clothes for solid prices. I discovered Vuori’s options from a blog.
I was hesitant to try a new brand, but Vuori’s so sure I’ll appreciate their stuff, they have an Investment In Happiness product guarantee. If I don’t love the product, I simply send it back for free.
So, since I had nothing to lose, I got 5 pieces: the Performance Jogger in Caramel Heather, Vuori’s classic Daily Legging in Cosmo and matching Halo Performance Hoodie, the Studio Pocket Legging in Black, and the Short Sleeve Halo Crop in Grey Heather.
I received an email from Vuori with my tracking information and I got super excited about the arrival of my new Vuori pieces!
My Experience
Wow. What a delightful surprise to pull on my Cosmo Daily Leggings. The quality is second to none! They’re actually breathable – and while the fabric is ultra-soft, it feels like it will last a while. Not to mention, it’s stretchy in all the right places and effortlessly sophisticated.
The Cosmo Halo Performance Hoodie is made with 4-way stretch DreamKnit™ material that wicks away moisture for light workouts. The Performance Joggers are incredibly comfortable and the shade Caramel Heather is so unique but flattering and the cropped leg is super stylish.
The Studio Pocket Legging in Black has to be one of my favorite pieces in the order. They’re flattering and move with you, so they fit as loungewear or workout gear. I love that the Short Sleeve Halo Crop has a built-in bra, so it doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing one! The grey tee is ultra-soft and has a casual look that you can even pair with jeans if you want to dress it up!
I wanted comfort, but as you guys know, I like to look good too! Built to endure, reasonably priced, and nonchalantly chic, Vuori makes me feel so confident it’s now my one-stop shop. I’ve since picked up their fantastic Mindset Bra and matching Rib Studio Short. When I showed my boyfriend Vuori, he was so impressed that he ordered some items, too.
He got the Ponto Performance Pant in Indigo Heather and the Ponto Performance Crew in Platinum Heather and they’re so soft. He wears them everywhere. The Kore Shorts in Beryl are his favorite thing to work out in – they have a breathable, boxer-brief liner and a classic athletic fit. The Strato Tech Tee in Charcoal Grey is moisture-wicking with UPF 30+ and is the softest performance knit I’ve ever felt.
