You can never go wrong with a go-to coat. My personal favorite is one you can wear with a variety of outfits like tan, cream or black trench coat. More on this look here and a roundup of fabulous trench coats here.
I hesitated to jump on the culotte pants trend for so long. Once I jumped I never looked back. Now, this style is my favorite for dressing up! The cropped cut shows off your shoes and the wider leg pant style definitely makes a statement. More on this look culotte pants look here.
A cape is an interesting take on the classic black blazer. Mix it with statement-making pieces like paper bag culotte pants, statement shoes, and a velvet bag and you’re in for a Devil Wear’s Prada worthy look! See the full post here.
When it’s a bit chilly outside, but you still want to rock your colored pencil skirt… Mix it with a chunky knit sweater, suede bag, and lace-up heels. See this cozy work look here.

You can always count on me to bring back vintage inspired looks like this ladylike matching blue bouclé suit. The pieces can be worn separately or together. The whole look together looks polish and sophisticated.
A striking blue dress and statement bag are always a great go-to work look. It’s easy to throw on a blazer and heels if you want to up the professionalism of your outfit.
