While I was packing for my recent trip to Palm Springs, I knew I was going to have to pack a ton of moisturizing products to combat the dry desert air. My skin is already very dry so moisturizing is a daily necessity for me. As soon as I step out of the shower my lotion is the next thing in my hand and I often have to reapply later that day. And since I want to keep my skin looking as young and healthy as possible for as long as I can so I usually apply a sunscreen on top of my moisturizing lotion. Gone are the days when I step out into the sun without sunscreen!
So when Simply invited me to partner with Coppertone and try their ClearlySheer Whipped Sunscreen I thought to myself, this may just be what I need for my skin. I was curious to see how a light formula would work as a broad-spectrum protection in a rich and creamy lotion. I applied it a few minutes before heading out into the sun. The product comes out of the bottle thick and soft like a shaving cream. It glides on easily and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling very soft. The product is available in both SPF 30 and 50 and perfect for everyday protection.
I’m going to be replacing my everyday morning routine with this sunscreen to make sure my skin is protected. Plus, the formula won’t clog pores or cause breakouts (it’s been clinically tested on acne-prone skin.) The scent is a refreshing citrus with soft floral base notes so people don’t even know I’m wearing sunscreen. Remember, damage from sun exposure builds up over time and every little bit you do to protect your skin now counts!
