Sunday Boat House Party at Marina Del Rey Hotel

This past weekend I got to celebrate my birthday with a little Sunday Funday at the Marina Del Rey Hotel. I woke up to see them setting up nautical decor by the pool for their Sunday Boat House Pool Party. The hotel went all out for this event. The DJ was blasting great music and I was singing Whitney Houston ~~in Tony’s ear~~ at the top of my lungs. Their house cocktails are amazing by the way. I suggest two, in particular, the Rosé All Day and the Senorita Cantarita are amazing.

This pool party is such a hidden gem in Marina Del Rey. The location is great, there’s always a cool ocean breeze, the view of the Marina is beautiful, and the food is delicious! I would rather come to this pool party than any other in Los Angeles. Also, it’s never overly crowded which makes getting a drink from the bar or finding an open chair that much better.

When I heard there was a boathouse theme, of course, I had to grab my captain’s hat, some vintage sunnies, and a nautical neck tie. My swimsuit is a style that flattering on all body types and my wedges were also very comfortable and pool party-appropriate (plus they’re on sale!!)

Future Pool Parties…

The hotel parties will be going on every Sunday now through September 3rd with different DJs every weekend. There are also going to be weekly themed events, poolside games, luaus, and tournaments!! The parties are open to the public (21+ for non- hotel guests, no cover charge just $4 parking!) Day beds and cabana rentals are available for bottle service and food/beverage minimums.
