Last weekend Liz, Danny and I decided to just pick up and get out of town on a little road trip. It was one of those impromptu trips where nothing is planned and whatever happens, happens. Usually, I am the kind of person that likes to plan plan plan. But lately with everything going on work, blogging, social life, etc. I don’t have time to plan and don’t even care if I do.
We took off Saturday, stopped in Solvang then drove north to Hearst Castle, stayed in Cambria that night. Sunday we drove to Lompoc then ended in Santa Barbara. Of everything I tossed in my bag(s) for the weekend, this look was my absolute favorite- my kind of causal. My mind seems to be stuck on nautical looks lately (maybe because I am set on going to the Hamptons next year?) This navy and gold striped tee has sequin embedded all over it. I was literally sparkly all day.
This weekend I’ll be catching up on blog posts, prepping a new giveaway for you all and finally catching up on sleep! Well, hopefully anyway. That is if I don’t stay up to late again shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I cannot resist sometimes. Especially when I see a jacket like this one and a dress like this! Happy shopping everyone!

Laura
