Lately I have been very good about resisiting the temptation to buy any new clothes, jewelry, or shoes. My focus has been more home decor and saving money to travel.
However, I am human and therefore not perfect. While shopping at Ross Dress for Less for my niece, I came across this gorgeous color block dress. When I saw the $18 price tag there was no doubt in my mind that if it fit, it was coming home with me.
I’ve always believed that it’s better to buy less expensive clothes and invest more in shoes and handbags. This dress is a perfect example of how you can still look put together without having to spend a lot of money on work clothes. Plus, if anything happens to it, ahem- I spill my morning coffee- it won’t be the end of the world.
Obvious to say, it fits. It is one of those perfect work dresses that you can wear year around and style a million different ways and it will always look chic.
Granted you won’t always be able to find amazing pieces every time you visit a discount store like Ross. Or any retailer for that matter. But when you do, you’ll appreciate them even more. I cannot wait to show you all another dress I found recently at Ross, again, for $16!
Thank you Ross for always surprising me with hidden treasures.
