12 Days of Holiday Style: Home Tour

There is something about Christmas morning that is just so exciting. Even when you know that Santa Clause doesn’t actually exist so you get to eat all the cookies yourself. I guess it is the reminiscing feeling of being 8 years old again running downstairs to see mounds of presents and scrambling to find all the ones with your name on it. This Christmas morning I got all I asked for. Waking up in my new home with my family there to celebrate with me. Now all I want are some black patent Valentino Rockstud heels. Just Kidding! I need to finish buying furniture first before I buy any more shoes. Or at least a shoe shelf to put all my current pairs on. 😉

It was a Christmas miracle that I was able to get the house as furnished as I did before Christmas. All thanks to a million trips to Target and many late nights at Home Goods for pick-me-up shopping trips after stressful days of remodel. There are still a lot of pieces I am looking for, like more decorative pillows because (obviously) I don’t have enough LOL. It is a work in progress.

I have a love for metallic reindeer like this one I picked up from Home Goods.

Another reindeer statue from Home Goods and my favorite lamps from Macy’s. I cannot decide if I want to keep them in the living room or put them in my bedroom.

Strawberries, hot cocoa, and the best almond cookies from Trader Joes. Seriously so addicting. I may have to stock up on this seasonable item. All of the dishware here is from Target. Including the white serving tray that I get so much use out of already.

It was so crazy busy before the holidays that I didn’t have time to get a tree. I arrived home on Christmas Eve day to two trees. One from Brian and one from my brothers.

Another favorite Home Goods purchase: This glitter candle and mirrored tray.

I have an obsession with buying cozy blankets and pillows. To be fair, 4 of these pillows came with the couch. The snowflake pillows are from Target and are currently half off and available in stores!!
