Shop for a Cause

Today I am posting a little sneak peek inside the Shop for Success charity event happening this Thursday, Nov 19 – Sunday, Nov. 22nd benefitting Dress for Success! You may have seen me mention it on my Instragram (where you can win 2 VIP tickets by the way) that this Thursday is the opening of Shop for Success. Designer brands will be up to 70% off and all of the proceeds go to Dress for Success, an charity that helps women (and men!) with career development and support. It is a great event that combines a good time, shopping, girlfriends, and giving back to those in need.

Yesterday, Kier and I stopped by Shop for Success to check it out before Thursday’s big opening night. As soon as I walked in I was immediately drawn to this massive wall of handbags and shoes.  When I was finally able to pull my eyes away I turned around to rack and racks of clothing. To be honest I was not quite sure where to begin. Kier would see something and call me over to admire it, then I’d start shopping that rack. Then I’d see a sequin out of the corner of my eye and run to the other rack to see what it was. Let’s just say we were there for a few hours 😉

One item the caught my eye in particular was this gorgeous velvet beaded sheer maxi gown by the brand For Love and Lemons. I’ve loved their dresses for some time and loved the art deco design of this one in particular. There is still a small available for anyone who wants is!

It was amazing that I was able to pick out a favorite amongst so many beautiful gowns. All perfect options for upcoming holiday parties!

Another look I styled was this Alice + Olivia beaded crop top, a bronze skirt by Moschino and Karen Millen strappy sandals.

Manolo Blahnik pumps anyone?
