Every time I walk through a department store I end up seeing something that catches my eye and I have to have it. I was at Bloomingdale’s when I happen to glance down the walkway and a red floral pattern caught my eye 40 feet away. There it was, a beautiful vintage inspired cocktail dress by designer Aidan Mattox. I stood there hoping I could think of an upcoming event I could wear it too. The only thing that popped into my mind was a blog photo shoot to share this beautiful dress with all of you. I tried it on and did not want to take it off (PS- that is when you really know that you love something.) I wore it to a holiday party over the weekend and am looking forward to wearing it again someday. Maybe to a black tie wedding 😉
As Christmas draws closer I am really looking forward to spending some quality time with the family this week and unwinding a bit. Wednesday I’ll be baking lots of Christmas cookies with my sister and having to fight off my brothers from eating all of them before dinner. Tomorrow on the blog I’ll be featuring an easy DIY holiday ornament tutorial! Also, don’t miss your chance to enter the Holiday Giveaway! There are only a few days left to enter!
