Last Thursday I attended the lovely Keene on Qupid dinner hosted by Qupid shoes and blogger friend Elizabeth Keene of the blog A Keene Sense of Style. The event was held at Pali House in West Hollywood- one of those locations you hear about and never forget it once you’ve visited. The evening started off with drinks and outfit photos on the patio overlooking all of Los Angeles.
Then we moved into the restaurant and were greeted by the most lovely set up I have ever seen. Boxes of shoes wrapped with beautiful pink bows, lots of candy, adorable framed name plates and a table Qupid’s newest line of shoes!
Dinner was delicious. We were treated to mini spicy chicken sliders ( I may have had more than 3 they were so good) mushroom truffles, and little crab cakes. I swear no one ate for the first 15 minutes as we were getting millions of photos of the decor that even included little diamonds and flower petals on the table. Elizabeth and Darlene you did an amazing job. Pinterest would be proud! Thank you again for a lovely evening and I cannot wait to show you guys which shoes I picked out!
My outfit for the evening consisted of a little mint sequin crop top I found on the clearance rack at Bloomingdale’s for $13 and a cream tulle skirt I bought on Ebay for $10. I felt ultra feminine in this look and am proud to say nothing I was wearing cost over $35. It just goes to show that the Laura Lily tag line is true… You don’t need to spend a fortune to look fabulous 😉 I will update this page with a link to the top as soon as I can find it online!
Last, but certainly not least- Thank you all so much for entering my Beaded Clutch Giveaway. Congratulations to the winner Bethany!
