Summer time- July is almost over and that means summer will fly by before we know it. In only 6 weeks I’ll be heading to Minnesota to see my best friend from high school get married. Which reminds me… I am still on the hunt for a bridesmaid dress. If anyone knows where I can get a pretty mint green or pastel blue dress please let me know! The week after that I will be back in the big apple for my 4th New York Fashion Week. Can I just start packing now? Until then I need to make use of my summer clothes before it’s time to switch them out for fall pieces.

I’m trying to shop my closet a bit more and cut back on shopping. ( Wish me luck, but there are finally things I want more than another pair of shoes.) This outfit consists of pieces that I have had for years. The red dress was bought at Ross for $12 back in the day when I had enough patience to shop through the racks at that store. Style Tip: dresses like these are perfect for summer because you can easily dress them up or down. Throw on sandals to run errands or heels to wear them to a party.
