I love the collaborations Target does with designers because it gives normal people with budgets and day jobs the chance to own pieces of a limited edition collection . Besides, who doesn’t love Target items in general?! I attended 3.1 Phillip Lim’s store opening on Robertson Blvd. not too long ago, but kept my credit card in my wallet. Luckily, my first day of New York Fashion Week consisted of a the Phillip Lim for Target launch party and private shopping event. The party started at 7pm. When Kier and I arrived approximately 15 minutes later the racks and shelves had been depleted of everything. People were waiting for the merchandise to be restocked. I wanted one item in particular, the mini cross-body bag which Kier and I each managed to snag. I love it. It is like the shrunk version of a regular handbag- so cute! Look for it in my day 3 and 4 outfit posts from New York Fashion Week!
There are still a few Phillip Lim for Target items that we have our eyes on and may end up going to a Target store early Sunday morning to try and find them. What items from the collection are you most looking forward to?!
For the party I decided to wear a Marciano by Guess dress that I had bought at an outlet mall years ago. (It was my day of outlet mall purchases as seen by my dress earlier that day- post here.) I left my heels and glitzy Stella & Dot jewels on from earlier and of course had to carry the DIY lucite clutch Kier made for me. Her outfit was so cute, a jeweled pattern dress from H&M. We complimented each other quite nicely.
The beautiful Jessica Alba in her adorable Boom! sweater and the fabulous fashionista Solange Knowles. Both just as gorgeous in person. The designer, Phillip Lim, was there to greet guests excited over his latest collaboration.

Stylescape interactive board- a complete panorama of all the major cities includes: Los Angeles, New York City, Dallas, Toronto, Chicago, and Miami. I was present for the photo shoot of the Los Angeles clip. See the behind the scenes action here.
