12 Days of Holiday Style

Welcome to 12 Days of Holiday Style: Outfit #4! This burgundy velvet dress is a favorite of mine because it can be worn two ways: with the plunging neckline in front, or in back. This is a great style tip for any dresses or tops you have that have a v-neck. Especially if you love the item, but feel it is too risque to wear to certain occasions. Just flip it around! I am sure you are wondering, how does she go bare-legged in the middle of winter? I cheat I wear nude nylons. They help add a bit of color to my otherwise snow-white complexion and help keep me a bit warmer!

I wore this outfit to the Simon G Jewelry and Marie Claire preview last night featuring the new jewelry collection with designer Zee Ghanimian. It was quite fun to try on all the jewels. The preview was held at Soho House in West Hollywood. I had never been there before. It is very beautiful inside. Looking forward to trying out the rooftop restaurant there. BCBG was having an event in the next room. I was hoping I might run into Lubov (the COO of BCBGMAXAZRIA– my favorite brand) to tell her how much I love the winter collection (have you seen it yet? It is amazing! )But alas, it did not happen. Next time.
